The two pictures in the box above show the effective repair done to a damaged picture.

The photographs are of my father during his war service in 1941.
I came across the photograph on the left in a box of other old photographs, and over the years it had been damaged and the tone and contrast had faded.

After some repair work the image on the right was the result. Most of the serious damage had been repaired and the tone and contrast restored. After the work was done I still have the original damaged image but I also now have a much better repaired image.

All I would require is a scan of the picture or the original which I will scan for you. I will then repair the picture as far as I can and return it to you with the original, if you have sent me it.

The costs for this service will be totally dependent on the amout of work required and the time taken to repair the damage and restore the picture.
