The pictures in the boxes above show the effective repair that can be done to damaged pictures.

The top picture dates from the Second World War and is of my father. The original had been stored badly, in a box and had been folded over causing it to crack. The contrast had also faded and the sharpness had declined.

The second picture dates from the 1920s and has been severely damaged, probably when an attempt was made to remove it from the card backing. As far as possible the damaged portions have been replaced and the contrast and shades enhanced.

The third picture, from the 1970s has been affected by light, has had a hole punched in it and piece of sticky tape placed over the hole. The repair shows the colours have been restored and the hole "removed" as has the sticky tape.

If you have photographs that are a bit tired and worn and in need of some tender loving care why not let me see if I can bring them back to life for you.

All I would require is a scan of the picture or the original which I will scan for you. I will then repair the picture as far as I can and return it to you with the original, if you have sent it to me.

The costs for this service will be totally dependent on the amount of work required and the time taken to repair the damage and restore the picture.

Each order will be individually priced in negotiation with the client.
